Course Objective: Enhance knowledge and understanding of the best practices in the sector for getting board members engaged and committed to the fund development process.

This two-hour program will help attendees create and maintain productive relationships with board members to support fundraising. The session will cover common myths and realities about board involvement in fundraising. It will explore the fears and obstacles that need to be overcome to achieve 100% board participation in the development program. It will also provide tools and tips for building a donor-centric culture of philanthropy that engage the entire organization in the fund development process. The session will be interactive, and provide practical ways to involve the board in all dimensions of the fundraising enterprise.
